Morning coffees were had while mind-surfing the empty right out front, which was looking tasty, but the call was made to hit The Bubble.

After a bracing 20-minute boat ride, we pulled up to The Bubble's glassy, empty lineup, with small but well-formed zippers racing down the reef.
The Bubble's a dreamy little set up that delivers pure jolts of down-the-line pleasure. Though fun, this morning's session had a slightly anticlimactic vibe after the highs of the last two days. It was just a touch too small and fast, so it wasn't hard to tear ourselves away and head back for lunch.
With modest expectations, we headed off to GT's after lunch and were stoked to see a surprising remnant of swell energy zeroing in on this gem of a reef.
GT's has a bit more kick than the breaks we've been surfing the last few days, and the guests were more than ready to launch themselves into the challenge.
As a bonus, the onshore ruffle cleaned itself up, the sun came out and the glass came on. Occasionally a set would come through that would show everyone the incredible nature of this world class wave.
Today was a day of slightly inconsistent sessions as the swell subsides. Tomorrow we'll probably sniff out the swell magnets. That's the thing about up here, so many options, and – if we do say so ourselves – we've got 'em dialled!
